This is a full-metal model equipped with a smartphone link in the digital/analog combination "GA-2100" series, which was developed by inheriting the concept of G-SHOCK's first model DW-5000C. The
screw back case, bezel, and band are made of stainless steel, and the shockproof structure protects the module from the impact of a fall, while aiming for a simple design that eliminates waste. It
also inherits the octagonal bezel shape and dimple design of the band, which were also used in the DW-5000C, which was born in 1983.
By installing a slim and high-performance module using high-density mounting technology, it is possible to achieve a thinner profile. We are also particular about how comfortable it is to wear.
The stainless steel bezel is molded three-dimensionally after a labor-intensive forging, cutting, and polishing process, and the top surface is beautifully finished with a circumferential hairline and the slope is mirror polished.
A fine-resin cushioning material is placed between the bezel and the case, allowing for an impact-resistant structure with a metal exterior.
The dial is delicately shaped by the microfabrication technology of the Casio Yamagata Plant, and finished with a high quality by applying vapor deposition.
The thin, high-performance digital/analog combination module connects to a dedicated app via Bluetooth(R) communication function to acquire time information and accurately tick the time. It
also has practical functions such as tough solar and high-brightness double LED lights.
